The course in Biological Sciences from USF began in 1972 under the defunct Bandeirante Faculty of Philosophy and Literature Science, formerly held by the Institute of Higher Education of the Region Bragantina. The Gerontology Minor program is designed to provide a basic foundation for any undergraduate student who is interested in studying the aging processes and working with mature adults.
